Lady Lady

lady was a loving mixed breed. she had a place in our family that we thought would've lasted a bit longer than it did. she was so pleasant never hardlies barked every1 who ever met her loved her. when she was 3 she gave birth to 7 lovely pups sadly 1 died. we had 2 get her spayed after the birth of her pups as she was bleeding internally we didnt think she was goin 2 make it then, but she made a marvellous recovery. after we got her spayed she put loads of weight on n it didnt matter how many walks she went for we just couldnt seem to shift the weight off her. she looked so funny cos she only had a little head and then this big body but she was still gorgeous and loving and caring.sadly though 1 day we noticed when we put her dinner down 2 her it took her ages to find it, so my mam made her an emergency appointment at the vets that's when they said that she had diabetes which made her go blind it was horrible, they said that they could give her some medication for her diabetes but they wouldn't be able to do anything for her eyesight. that's when they asked us if we would like to put her down as she would only suffer cos she would need injections everday of her life for her diabetes we said yes as we wouldn't want to see her suffering it was horrible, i swear when they went to get the injection to put her to sleep that she knew what was going to happen i couldnt touch her i was petrified she just staired at me with her puppy dog eyes i knew from that moment we made the biggest mistake of our lives putting her down i'll never forget that look she gave me. we couldn't have asked for a better pet than lady, she meant the world to all of us, she will always be missed n loved dearly and she will always be remembered as our baby and as part of our family love you always lady never ever forget you catherine xxxx
